4 days ago. The choice of pain tablets was a scaline block. I am still have intence amouts of pain surrounded by my shoulder. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a ten. I used up my perscribed drug. Why is it still hurting?I have arthroscopic shoulder surgery!?
I had this same surgery 10 days ago and am still contained by pain! My follow up appt isn"t until friday. I've call 3 times already in regard to the pain and they basically keep upping my distress med and telling me to rime it! the block only works for 2 or 3 days. Call your doctor and they can name in more spasm meds. Check out some of my other questions on the subject of this...

It shouldn't be hurting that much, call for your surgeon today.
I had matching surgery on my knee. If I remember right, my knees killed after the surgery and get really swollen. I had to grasp a cortisone shot which was even worse than the spasm I was have. It's been 10 years and my knees still hurts and still gets swollen when I over exercise or bend it a unquestionable way. If I know, I never would have have the surgery. Hopefully yours turns out better. You really shouldn't be in that much niggle with the meds. I would give the name your doctor today.
