after it was done swelling the size of an egg come up.
the nurse applied really hard pressure to surrounded by and it kina went down, but its still swollen tonight and really bruised.
Ive have bllod tests formerly and gave blood but never have this before, is it anything to verbs about?I have a blood check today and?
the nurse have damaged the artery. Don't worry it will turn down, but the brusing will last a few days/week. the artery didn't shut immediately the plunger was withdrawn, or it might own done some damage on insertion.
No, it will alleviate. The nurse bruised you.
This happened to me earlier. it was really sore so I sympathise beside you!! I think it's juts doomed to failure technique on the part of the nurse. It'll soon travel, so don't worry.
What probably happen was the nurse ruptured a capillary. It will continue to bleed internally and this will cause swelling and bruising. If you own taken a blood thinner prior to the test this may enjoy some effect. By blood thinner I mean aspirin or Tylenol or any other OTC twinge killer. Try applying rime and elevate your arm above your heart to slow circulation.
If this problem doesn't start to go away by tomorrow get to the Dr's.
a bad push!
It'll go.
it's a shame this happen really, i stopped giving blood cos each time it hurt more and more :(
