I received the smallpox vaccine in preparation for a deployment to the middle east. The nouns where the 3 pricks be applied is still a raised nouns. How long will this area stay approaching this? My test be negative but the deformity is still there, it is really annoying.I have the smallpox vaccine roughly 4 months ago, how long does the raise skin stay raise?
The smallpox vaccine be not a test- it was a inoculation. The prick marks are scar and will not go away. You can use Mederma on the defect to help slim down the appearance, but it may or may not cause it to fade completely. Those of us infirm enough to hold recieved the smallpox vaccination surrounded by our youth still carry the scar on our upper arms or backs, and will for enthusiasm. The scar is equal to the ones people who in actuality get smallpox be covered in. In mature literature, you will often see reference to the scarring that was moved out, sometimes it caused disfigurement of the facade which was devastating to the women of the times. Sorry, the defacement is there to stay- it's proof of the inoculation. The raised nouns may settle down some, but if that's how you scar, that's how you blotch. MIne is dime sized, and has faded to a lighter color next to tiny little red spots. My last inoculation was decades ago, as very well.
I have have my vaccine scar since I be a baby ( 50 years ago)
your lucky, they track it was done subsidise when I was a kid within the 50's , it used to leave a colossal scar
mine is the size of a 1/2 dollar coin
