I hold a lump on my throat?

i have a really small lump on the out side of my throat and everytime i tach it i get hold of a really sharp pain on the other side of my throat not where on earth the lump is, does anyone know what this could be.I hold a lump on my throat?
Don't want to scare you but I would move about get that checked out pronto! One of my dearest friends, discovered a lump on her throat. It have grown to three times the size of her thyroid and they suspect its cancerous. Go check it out, better safe than sorry.

Probably a lymph node.
They stop infection.
When you draw from a soar throat, or soon to get one,the infection
builds up within. Mine swell all the time.
The doctor said to put heat up rag on it.
Don't verbs about it so much, unless your throat
starts hurting, later see a doctor for some meds.
Work pal have a similar thing, sounds resembling it could be a cyst. Probably not worth worrying about but bring back it checked out quickly eh?
