relieve...I enjoy a herniated disk, I am 40 and WAS terrifically helpful and aspiration to be again. should I .?
I went straight for the surgery, Felt better when I woke up surrounded by Recovery and was out and roughly within around 3 wks. I was still causious for a few months but adjectives in adjectives, NO COMPLAINTS. I heard 100's of horror stories around back surgery until that time hand and am so glad I didn't nose-dive for what I consider to be forklore. The operations in a minute are not only spur-of-the-moment, but extremely effective.
Good luck, I hope you obtain relief from your disc strain soon!!
Go to a Pain Management Clinic and have a spinal Corisone infusion done. They work and you can own three per year. Now I am swimming, bike riding, and walking, and enjoying go again. Please get your Dr's ok formerly doing any physical activity. Best Wishes!
I get Epidural Injections and that helped closely. Anti-inflamatories help hang on to the swelling around the disc and nerves down (Motrin, aspirin). Physical therapy also help to strengthen back muscles to avoid adjectives injury. I have hear good reviews for Acupuncture for the dull pain. I know 2 people they hold had backbone surgery. One got so-so results, one wishes it have never been done.
Discs herniate contained by various degree, 1 - mild, 2- moderate, and 3 - severe. Follow the advice of the doctor that diagnosed your condition. I enjoy 9 prolapsed discs, and have have a C5-C6 discectomy and fusion. I work out 3X a week. Exercise helps save the spine strong and prevent injury, but your doctor is the one best to determine the course of action. Only a rating of 3 - severe, would allow for surgery. Chiropractors will know better than to adjust the vertebrae within that area. Massage therapist may not know better.
